Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the HoloHawk website at holohawk.uk and the HoloHawk deal-alert service. By using the site or subscribing, you accept them. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean HoloHawk Ltd, and "you" means you or the Discord community you represent.

1. What HoloHawk does

HoloHawk monitors public eBay listings for Pokémon TCG cards and sealed products, works out what each item is worth using our own valuation method, and posts listings that look like good value to our public deals page and to subscribing Discord servers.

HoloHawk is an information tool, not advice. Everything we publish is an automated estimate. We do not verify the authenticity, condition, description or availability of any listing, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and an eBay seller. Any purchase you make is entirely your own decision and at your own risk.

2. Accuracy

The estimated market value we show is our own — produced by HoloHawk's proprietary valuation method from comparable listings on the marketplace. Where we also display PriceCharting or PulseTCG figures, those are third-party reference prices shown alongside ours for context; they are not what our estimate is based on, and they will often differ from it. Any figure originating in another currency is converted to pounds sterling at a rate that may not be current.

Listings are screened by automated systems including AI, which will sometimes be wrong — a listing may be misidentified, mispriced, already sold, or not the product it appears to be. We work hard to keep all of this accurate, but we do not guarantee that any price, discount, description or classification is correct.

If you spot something wrong, the report buttons on each deal help us fix it, and we are grateful for them.

3. The free service

Our public deals page and public Discord community are free to use. We may change, limit or withdraw them at any time without notice.

4. Server subscriptions

Paid subscriptions give a nominated Discord server its own deal alerts, delivered to webhooks you control. Subscriptions are approved by application — we may decline any application, and we do not have to give a reason.

• The price and billing period are those shown to you at checkout before you pay.
• Payment is taken by Stripe. By subscribing you also accept Stripe's terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• Where a free trial is offered, we will not charge you until it ends, and you may cancel during the trial at no cost.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in your server dashboard, or by emailing [email protected]. Your alerts continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

Fourteen-day cancellation right. If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. Because the service starts as soon as your subscription is set up, you are asking us to begin during that period. Even so, if you cancel within 14 days we will refund what you have paid in full — you do not need to give a reason. Just email us.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute or republish HoloHawk alerts outside the server your subscription covers, or share access credentials, without our written agreement;
• scrape, mirror or systematically extract data from the site, or use automated tools against it beyond normal browsing;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• use HoloHawk for anything unlawful.

You are responsible for the Discord webhooks and role settings you give us, and for making sure you are allowed to configure the server you nominate.

7. Affiliate links

Links to eBay are affiliate links through the eBay Partner Network, and we may earn a commission when you buy through one. It costs you nothing extra and never changes which deals we show you. See our affiliate disclosure for the detail.

8. Availability

We aim to keep HoloHawk running continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Scanning depends on third-party systems — eBay, Discord, our pricing sources and our hosting provider — and any of them can fail or change without warning. We may suspend the service for maintenance. Short interruptions do not entitle you to a refund; if a paid service is substantially unavailable for an extended period, contact us and we will put it right.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights, and nothing here affects them.

Beyond that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on a price estimate, deal classification or alert — including money lost on a purchase, a deal you missed, or a listing that turned out to be inaccurate or counterfeit. Where we are liable to a subscriber, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Ending your access

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if payment fails, or if we stop offering the service. If we withdraw the service while you are paid up, we will refund the unused part of your subscription.

11. Trade marks

HoloHawk is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., The Pokémon Company or eBay Inc. Pokémon and all related names are trade marks of their respective owners.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects a paying subscriber, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
